Mary Wisniewski

Specialty
“I specialize in a wide variety of orthopedic injuries, soft tissue mobilization and aquatic therapy.”
Education
Sacramento City College
Associate of Science: Physical Therapy Assistant
Professional Associations
American Physical Therapy Association
I became a Physical Therapist Assistant because…
“Growing up, I played a lot of sports and I loved Biology and the Life Sciences. I thought it would be great if I had a job that combined sports and the medical field. A Physical Therapist came to speak about his occupation to one of my college classes and I thought, ‘That’s it!’”
What’s most exciting about my job?
“I love working with people from all walks of life and all ages. I love using ‘hands-on’ techniques to decrease pain and increase function. I get excited when a patient starts to see their own progress and they get excited about it!”
Interests
“I love playing sports like volleyball, indoor soccer and softball. I love music, movies, camping at the beach with my husband and two daughters, and a good game of “tug o’war” with my Jack Russell Terrier.”
